/I am getting restless, a bit tired of the sourdough making, zoom meetings, and virtual exercise classes. I find myself frustrated by this restlessness, what to do with it? Resilience is a word often used these days; “an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change.” The ability to adjust easily to misfortune or change is not a given, we need help, support and a spark. I have the capacity to be resilient but, this time, I needed a bit of ‘priming the pump’.

/We all can agree that this is an extraordinary time and we are all coping as best as we can. My life changed a bit just before all the self-isolation measures came into play. In February I pulled back from private practice to give thought to what direction I wanted my work to take. Then COVID happened and life changed again.
With time on my hands and curiosity, I registered for a storytelling webinar with The StoryCenter.org – Storytelling in the Time of COVID. I’m familiar with their work and have taken digital storytelling workshops with them in the past - in Denver, and here in Edmonton with Karen Matthews and Weasel Tale. I like StoryCenter’s approach to storytelling as a means to heal.
